The story you’re about to read takes place roughly three years after Commander Tartar, the chaotic and ruthless telephone, attempted to wipe out the Inkling race off the face of the entire planet, with a sanitization machine powerful enough to conquer all life on Earth. Thankfully, Commander Tartar was thwarted, all thanks to the efforts of a memoryless, but brave agent. As well as her team of courageous cephalopods, an energetic pink Squid, a smart teal Octoling, and an inspirational teacher. Since then, the Inklings and Octolings thrive and live in peace together, enjoying every moment of their life. Whether it’d be friendly competitions in Turf War, Growth of teamwork in Salmon Run, or simply getting to know each other through engaging conversations, Inkopolis has been the marvelous center of coexistence between these amazing creatures.

 

 

Fast forward, those three years later, we meet an dynamic, competitive, and charismatic group of friends, a mixture of both Inklings and Octolings, shall it be said.

Every one of them get along with each another exceptionally well. Sometimes bonds break a little, especially during battle, as quite a few of the members have that sweet side of who is determined to be the strongest out of the group.

Regardless, this posse of eight cephalopods have bonded for quite some time now, and their friendship is likely to remain intact for years to come…
